Google Senior Search Analyst Confirms Technical SEO Still Matters

A Senior Search Analyst at Google recently confirmed on X.com that technical SEO still matters.

There’s been concern amongst SEO professionals and the digital marketing community that the importance of technical SEO – the process of properly setting up your website and web pages for search engines – has diminished following a recent update to Google’s search algorithms.

This, evidently, shouldn’t be a major concern.

Two weeks ago, Google Senior Search Analyst John Mueller replied to a comment on X.com, posting:

“Technical SEO is not going away, it continues to be the foundation of everything built on the open web.”

That’s a strong statement coming directly from the source!
